Before Donald Trump’s election victory on Wednesday, several celebrities publicly shared their thoughts on leaving the country should he return to the White House.

The Game of Thrones star, who is a native of the UK, said Harper’s Bazaar UK that he returned to his country because American politics was increasingly hostile.

“Gun violence, Roe v Wade overturned… Everything was almost too much. After Uvalde [school] shooting, I knew it was time to find out [expletive] get out of there,” he told the publication.

Although she has not openly said that she will leave the US if Donald gets into power, Taylor Swift is still talking about her thoughts on the future president.

In a 2019 interview with The Guardian, he said: “We are a democracy – at least, we should be there – where you are allowed to disagree, to disagree, to argue. .”
